Lots of reviewers seem to be griping about whether this works or not. Is it funny? Clever? Both? Or is the concept is too big to be successful?

We didn’t see this as a film to be simply consumed but rather it gave us a kicking off point for good conversation ranging from Karl Popper to Wittgenstein. The film itself is not heavy at all but its central idea of what would humans be like if they couldn’t lie remains an intriguing one.

We did feel more could have been done with the film than just romantic comedy. All in all a fascinating non-mainstream film that doesn’t require effort to watch but does linger after…
